Volleyball Recap: Lake Braddock Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lake Braddock suffered their biggest loss since October 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fairfax Lions, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lake Braddock was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Fairfax work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 25-17.

Morgan Williams paced Lake Braddock's offense, picking up eight kills. Williams got some help from Micki Millsaps and her 12 assists. Yana Jensen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lake Braddock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Fairfax, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Lake Braddock and West Potomac will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfax, they will challenge Gar-Field at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Red Wolves at the right time seeing as the Red Wolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
