The dominant performance also gave Lewis a new career-high in assists (three). Another player making a difference was Demonta King, who posted six points.

They blew past Varsity Opponent 82-34. Washington Leadership Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.
Washington Leadership Academy's win came from a few key players Idea will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zyahir Mack, who put up 35 points. Amari Clarke was another key player, putting up 23 points.
Washington Leadership Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Idea, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Idea beat Washington Leadership Academy 85-74 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Washington Leadership Academy's Dawaun McLean, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 22 boards. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Idea still be able to contain McLean? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
