Softball Recap: Darrington Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Darrington barely beat Orcas Island the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Loggers blew past the Vikings 16-4 on Saturday. The Loggers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Darrington pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Orcas Island, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Darrington will welcome La Conner at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orcas Island, they will venture away from home to challenge Coupeville at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
