Central won the last time they faced South Fork, and Christian Maxon did his part to make sure it happened again. The Central Cobras were the clear victor by an 84-64 margin over the South Fork Bulldogs on Tuesday thanks in part to Maxon, who went 10 for 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points and five assists. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Christopher Maxon, who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, ten rebounds, and 11 assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2024.

The win was the third in a row for Central, bringing their record for this year to 12-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for South Fork, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 matchups. As for South Fork, they will challenge Treasure Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
