Softball Recap: Royall Panthers vs. Brookwood Falcons
Royall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-3 to the Brookwood Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Royall of the 13-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
For Brookwood's part, Vanessa Anderson made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Anderson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
