Basketball Recap: Chequamegon Takes a Loss

Chequamegon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Rib Lake Redmen and fell 70-34. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Screaming Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-23 back in November of 2024.

Chequamegon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Rib Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Chequamegon will head out to challenge Elmwood/Plum City at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rib Lake, they will take on Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
