Soccer Recap: Haywood Comes Up Short

Haywood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Hardin County Tigers, falling 9-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Haywood of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Haywood's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hardin County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Haywood will venture away from home to take on Bolton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hardin County, they will welcome Lawrence County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
