Basketball Recap: Westside Christian Gets the Win

Westside Christian won against Portland Adventist Academy last Friday with 30 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Westside Christian Eagles made off with a 30-29 victory over the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one point.

The win made it two in a row for Westside Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-10. As for Portland Adventist Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Westside Christian Eagles challenge the Horizon Christian Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westside Christian is facing Horizon Christian at the right time seeing as Horizon Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Portland Adventist Academy, they will be playing at home against De La Salle North Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
