Softball Recap: Roxana Takes a Loss

Roxana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Calhoun Warriors, falling 13-1. If the Shells were looking for revenge after losing 13-4 to the Warriors when the teams met back in April of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roxana saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison John, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was John's first of the season.

Roxana's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Calhoun, their record is now 6-2.

Roxana has already played their next game (against Mascoutah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Calhoun, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 win against Brown County on the 3rd.
