Softball Recap: Hardee Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Hardee was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to the Parrish Community Bulls. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bulls recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Hardee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikayla Silva, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Hardee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Parrish Community, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hardee will face off against Frostproof at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.25 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Parrish Community, they will host North Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
