Volleyball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

Cordova lost against Curry on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell 2-0 to the Yellowjackets.

Despite the loss, Cordova still got an impressive performance from Lexee King, who had 14 assists and nine digs. King is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Chloe Kacharos, who had seven digs and one assist.

Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 25-17. As for Curry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-10 record this season.

Cordova didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Winston County on the 7th. As for Curry, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Corner on the 7th.
