It was a good run, but Southeastern HomeSchool unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Varsity Opponent by a score of 2-1. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Varsity Opponent apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Alana Surigao paced Southeastern HomeSchool's offense, picking up nine kills. Surigao really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emily Batts, each putting up four.

Southeastern HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Varsity Opponent wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Fellowship Christian on the 24th. Hopefully Southeastern HomeSchool paid attention to Varsity Opponent's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
