Basketball Game Preview: East Davidson Golden Eagles vs. Salisbury Hornets

East Davidson hasn't had much luck against Salisbury recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The East Davidson Golden Eagles will square off against the Salisbury Hornets at 7:30 p.m. East Davidson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, East Davidson turned things around against West Davidson on Saturday. They walked away with a 52-42 win over the Dragons.

Meanwhile, Salisbury came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 71-63.

East Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Salisbury, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

East Davidson was taken down by Salisbury 94-55 in their previous matchup back in February. Can East Davidson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
