Softball Recap: Shade Panthers vs. North Star Cougars

Shade took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They put the hurt on the North Star Cougars with a sharp 15-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for Shade, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jaedyn Krupper was a standout: she scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tori Bowers, who went 3-for-3 with three RBI.

North Star hasn't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Shade will head out on the road to face off against Turkeyfoot Valley Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Star, they will be playing at home against Blacklick Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Blacklick Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
