Volleyball Recap: West Orange Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Orange lost against Morristown back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountaineers fell 2-0 to the Colonials. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While West Orange was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-10.

Nola Duncan paced West Orange's offense, picking up ten kills. Duncan got some help from Cailee Cassidy and her nine assists. Cassidy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

West Orange's record now sits at 9-7. As for Morristown, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, West Orange will head out to challenge East Orange Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morristown, they will welcome West Morris Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
