Basketball Recap: Key West Comes Up Short

Key West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the NSU University Sharks and fell 82-15. The Conchs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-13.

Despite the loss, Key West still got an impressive performance from Zach Levering, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Key West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Key West will square off against Westminster Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Conchs will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for NSU University, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against American Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
