Bayside Academy has gone 7-1 against Cottage Hill Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Admirals are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Bayside Academy sitting on five straight wins and Cottage Hill Christian Academy on seven (dating back to last season).
On Friday, Bayside Academy blew past Hillcrest, posting a 56-6 victory. With the Admirals ahead 41-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Bayside Academy found their leader in sophomore Davis Barnett, who threw for 257 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Barnett has been hot recently, having posted four or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Brennen Yamane was in the mix as well, providing Bayside Academy with two TDs.
Bayside Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sam Cunningham and Noah Cain. Cain got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Bayside Academy, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Caid Lyons, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Cottage Hill Christian Academy hadn't done well against T.R. Miller recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 28-14.
Bayside Academy better keep an eye on Caleb Metzner. He was instrumental in Cottage Hill Christian Academy's win, picking up 149 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. That's the most receiving yards Metzner has posted since back in September of 2024. Shamar Toodle was another key player, throwing for 233 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Cottage Hill Christian Academy proved: they limited T.R. Miller to a paltry 1.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Shadarius Toodle for the heroic effort on defense: he. Cottage Hill Christian Academy didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.9.
Cottage Hill Christian Academy's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. Metzner was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up four himself.
Bayside Academy's record now sits at 5-1. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, their record is now 6-0.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Barnett and Toodle. Barnett just won't slow down this season and has thrown 21 touchdowns while averaging 239.2 passing yards per game. Toodle has been a dominant force too and has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 222.7 passing yards per game.
Everything went Bayside Academy's way against Cottage Hill Christian Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Bayside Academy made off with a 27-7 win. In that game, the Admirals amassed a halftime lead of 20-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
