Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Columbia Area). Everything went their way against the Danville Ironmen on Saturday as they made off with a 6-1 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Southern Columbia Area considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

They hit Danville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kailee Helwig (2), Kennadie Reamer (2), Macie Swank, and Alyssa Conner.

Southern Columbia Area's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Danville, they dropped their record down to 2-4-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Southern Columbia Area will head out to square off against Mount Carmel at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Southern Columbia Area will be up against Mount Carmel's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.6 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
