University Prep Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Basis Independent Silicon Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles by a score of 68-60. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats who have now won three games in a row.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mussie Gebrehanna, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalebe Girma, who earned 12 points.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for University Prep Academy, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Basis Independent Silicon Valley will challenge More at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Prep Academy, they will square off against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
