Fairmont was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Jaylin Turner did her best to prevent it. Turner wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over 8.1 innings while giving up four earned (and four unearned) runs off 13 hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with seven or more strikeouts.
