Basketball Recap: Merrimack Valley Comes Up Short

Merrimack Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 63-48 to the Coe-Brown Academy Bears. If the The Pride were looking for revenge after losing 61-55 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Merrimack Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Coe-Brown Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Merrimack Valley will head out to challenge Sanborn Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they will welcome Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Coe-Brown Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
