Volleyball Recap: Benton Takes a Loss

Benton was the 2-0 winner over Wesclin when they last played one another back in October of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Benton sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-16, 18-25, 17-15.

Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Wesclin, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 16-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Benton will venture away from home to take on Vienna at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wesclin, they will head out to challenge Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
