Softball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Trojans vs. Nolan Catholic Vikings

Trinity Christian hasn't had much luck against Nolan Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. Trinity Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Nolan Catholic will be coming in after a loss.

Trinity Christian took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over Parish Episcopal. The Trojans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Nolan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to Parish Episcopal.

Nolan Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Padilla, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Trinity Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Nolan Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1.

Trinity Christian took their win against Nolan Catholic when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
