Basketball Game Preview: Poston Butte Broncos vs. Combs Coyotes

Poston Butte is 9-1 against Combs since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Poston Butte Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Combs Coyotes at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Poston Butte came up into this matchup off a tough 44-point defeat on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of ALA - Queen Creek by a score of 55-53 on Wednesday. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poston Butte's loss came about despite a quality game from Symirah Gray, who posted 18 points and four steals. Gray's evening made it 18 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Meanwhile, Combs came up short against ALA - Gilbert North on Friday and fell 34-21.

Combs' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Poston Butte, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Everything went Poston Butte's way against Combs when the teams last played on January 9th, as Poston Butte made off with a 61-41 victory. Will Poston Butte repeat their success, or does Combs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
