Volleyball Recap: Temple Christian Starts Season with Win at Home

Temple Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Temple Christian never let Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-9.

Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Temple Christian has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Botkins on the 19th. As for Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dominion Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
