Volleyball Recap: Ligonier Valley Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greensburg Salem, Ligonier Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Neighborhood Academy Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Ligonier Valley never let Neighborhood Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 27-25.

Ligonier Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Neighborhood Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ligonier Valley will square off against East Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Neighborhood Academy, they will face off against Burrell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
