Soccer Game Preview: Elkhorn North vs. Madison

The Elkhorn North Wolves will take on the Madison Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Elkhorn North came up short against Roncalli Catholic and fell 3-1. The loss put an end to Elkhorn North's undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Zac Keenan, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Madison's offense. They came up short against Seward on Thursday, falling 5-0. Madison have struggled against Seward recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elkhorn North fell to 3-1. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Elkhorn North got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Madison by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
