Basketball Game Preview: Indian Valley Braves vs. St. Clairsville Red Devils

Indian Valley has gone 3-0 against St. Clairsville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Indian Valley Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Clairsville Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Indian Valley didn't have too much trouble with East Canton as they won 50-35. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Hornets are ranked 465th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Clairsville entered their tilt with Cambridge on Monday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 63-55 win over the Bobcats. 63 seems to be a good number for the Red Devils as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

St. Clairsville pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Indian Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Indian Valley was able to grind out a solid win over St. Clairsville in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 66-59. Will Indian Valley repeat their success, or does St. Clairsville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
