Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Riverton walked away with it. They came out on top against the Columbus Titans by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Riverton took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8.

Riverton had a senior duo take command as Ava Price had 25 assists and Alexa Price had 11 digs and three assists. Ava has been hot for a while, having posted 19 or more assists the last 14 times she's played. Savannah Mathews also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Riverton's victory bumped their record up to 32-4-1. As for Columbus, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-30-1.

Riverton has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Anderson County on the 20th. As for Columbus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Wellsville on the 20th.
