Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Lancers vs. Jasper Eagles

The Southeast Lancers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Jasper Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jasper took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Southeast, who comes in off a win.

Southeast will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Columbus, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Southeast walked away with a 62-49 victory over Columbus on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Meanwhile, Jasper came up short against Greenfield on Saturday and fell 58-47.

Southeast's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jasper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Southeast couldn't quite finish off Jasper when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 42-40. Can Southeast avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
