John Paul II waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Dallas Christian Chargers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

John Paul II easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Chloe Gerlach and Bella Howard, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Lucy Schwabauer and her 28 assists.

John Paul II's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Dallas Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

John Paul II didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Coram Deo Academy on the 29th. As for Dallas Christian, they will face off against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
