Meanwhile, Great Bend put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 43-26 win over Buhler.

A big part of Great Bend's victory came down to the chemistry between Daxton Minton and his top target Ian Premer. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 86 yards. Jacob Hall made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Great Bend's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Hall and Premer. Another thorn in Buhler's side was Aidan Davidson, who picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and forced a fumble.
