Basketball Recap: Big Foot Chiefs vs. Clinton Cougars
Big Foot lost against Clinton back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Big Foot Chiefs took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton Cougars. The loss continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.
Big Foot's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Clinton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Foot will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Edgerton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Big Foot likes a good challenge. As for Clinton, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Clinton Cougars challenge the Marshall Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
