Hoover and Thompson squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hoover had to settle for second. They fell 5-2 to the Warriors. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 23-16. As for Thompson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 40-4 record this season.
