NCSSM: Durham hasn't had much luck against Falls Lake recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Unicorns will be playing at home against the Firebirds at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

NCSSM: Durham came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against East Wake Academy, falling 15-5.

Caden Bringewatt was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

East Wake Academy hit Falls Lake with a ten-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Firebirds lost 13-3 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Firebirds in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Boston Moyers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameron Hill, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

NCSSM: Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Falls Lake, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
