Stuarts Draft hadn't done well against Riverheads recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cougars strolled past the Gladiators with points to spare, taking the game 29-13. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 29-28 victory the Gladiators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Derrick Moore, who rushed for 103 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

The win made it two in a row for Stuarts Draft and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.5 points over those games. As for Riverheads, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
