It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eastern Hancock can now relate to. They fell 26-22 to the Lapel Bulldogs on Friday. The Royals have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Eastern Hancock lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gavin Bowman, who picked up 45 receiving yards and two touchdowns. An impressive showing, but he really ramped things up playing D: he picked up a sack, made nine total tackles, and defended one pass. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Hayden Jackson, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
