Salina barely beat Adair the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Warriors on Friday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Salina pushed their record up to 24-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Adair, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-17 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Salina beat the Warriors by a score of 9-1 later that day.
