Basketball Recap: Prairie Valley Takes a Loss

Prairie Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a 56-39 bruising from the Saint Jo Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-25 back in January.

Prairie Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Saint Jo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie Valley will square off against Forestburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forestburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season. As for Saint Jo, they will take on Midway at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
