Soccer Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer was the 3-1 winner over McAllen when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneer Diamondbacks lost 3-0 to the McAllen Bulldogs on Friday. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for McAllen, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Pioneer will be playing at home against Sharyland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McAllen, they will head out on the road to square off against Vela at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
