Syracuse won the last time they faced Corner Canyon, and Talon Morris did his part to make sure it happened again. Syracuse came out on top against Corner Canyon by a score of 2-0 on Friday thanks in part to Morris, who had 15 assists and two aces. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in kills (three).

Syracuse is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Corner Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Syracuse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Skyline on the 21st. As for Corner Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Orem on the 21st.
