Baseball Game Preview: Millbrook School Mustangs vs. Berkshire School Bears

The Millbrook School Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Berkshire School Bears at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Millbrook School came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to Salisbury School. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Crimson Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Berkshire School came up short against Pomfret School on Wednesday and fell 7-4. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jack Sullivan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Chris Rosales was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Having lost for the first time this season, Millbrook School fell to 2-1. As for Berkshire School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Millbrook School suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Berkshire School in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
