Volleyball Recap: Murphysboro Takes a Loss

Murphysboro lost against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Cardinals. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Murphysboro's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

Murphysboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Herrin on the 7th. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marion on the 4th.
