Volleyball Recap: Centennial Baptist Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Centennial Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Liberty Charter Patriots, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Centennial Baptist ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.

Katie Oostra paced Centennial Baptist's offense, picking up eight kills. Oostra got some help from Samantha Zayas and her seven assists. Oostra was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Centennial Baptist now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Liberty Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-12.

Centennial Baptist didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against North Star on the 25th. As for Liberty Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Wilder on the 25th.
