            Softball Preview: Loudon Redskins vs. Lenoir City Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Loudon is 2-8 against Lenoir City since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. Loudon will challenge Lenoir City at 6:00  p.m. Loudon has given up an average of 8.3  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Loudon came into their game  on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost  13-6 to McMinn Central. One positive for the Redskins, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lenoir City's offense. They fell  5-0 to Anderson County on Friday. The  matchup marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.
 Lenoir City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Molly Robinson, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base. Robinson has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played.
 Lenoir City's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Loudon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Loudon might still be hurting after the  12-3 loss they got from Lenoir City  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. Can Loudon avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
