Basketball Recap: Meeteetse Comes Up Short

Meeteetse had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Upton Bobcats on Friday, falling 64-36. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Meeteetse lost, don't look at Max Potas. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Potas' morning made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Meeteetse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 46-40 win against Hulett on the 13th. As for Upton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-10 victory against Ten Sleep on the 14th.
