Ocean Springs is 0-10 against Biloxi since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ocean Springs Greyhounds will be home for the holidays to greet the Biloxi Indians at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ocean Springs comes in on six and Biloxi on four.
Ocean Springs has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over St. Martin. Given Ocean Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while St. Martin is ranked 246th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Biloxi strolled past Harrison Central with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 53-39.
Ocean Springs' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points per game. As for Biloxi, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
