Fremont entered their tilt with Grant on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 6-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Packers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2018.

Fremont's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Grant, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 22-7 record.

Coincidentally, Fremont and Grant will both be playing Hesperia the next time they take the field. The Packers will head out to face the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
