Volleyball Game Preview: Clearfield Falcons vs. West Field Longhorns

The Clearfield Falcons will take on the West Field Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clearfield will be strutting in after a victory while West Field will be coming in after a loss.

Clearfield took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Roy with a sharp 3-0 win. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Clearfield walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, West Field unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Fremont by a score of 3-2.

West Field took Fremont into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 23-25, 15-6.

Clearfield now has a winning record of 13-12. As for West Field, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
