After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northfield, Lewis Cass was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rensselaer Central Bombers a 10-0 shutout. The Kings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

The victory got Lewis Cass back to even at 8-8. As for Rensselaer Central, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis Cass will challenge Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Kings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Squires have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Rensselaer Central, they will be playing at home against Frontier at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
